These sessions will help you understand the funding opportunity and prepare a strong application.

  1. Find out about what’s available, who can apply, and key dates,

  2. How to find partners and demonstrate disability leadership, and

  3. Identify what assessors look for and how you and your team can write a standout application.


Session details

We're running multiple sessions so choose a time that works for you. All sessions will be free and run on Zoom.

They've been designed for anyone interested in applying for 2026 Disability Research Funding.

Q&A drop-in sessions:

  • Monday 30 March 2026, 1pm – 2.30pm AEDT. Auslan interpreted. 
  • Wednesday 1 April 2026, 4.30pm – 6pm AEDT

Online interactive sessions. Information shared at these sessions will be available on our FAQs page after the event. 

These are especially helpful if you:

  • Are new to research funding or from a DPO exploring research,
  • Need help building your research team,
  • Want to understand what makes a competitive application, or
  • Have questions about eligibility or the application process.

Our Evidence to Action events talk about what is known about a certain topic, what is not known, and what research is needed. Our goal is to work together and inform future research and policy directions.
